Injectable treatment for moderate to severe cellulite

Hail damage, cottage cheese, dents, and dimples… whatever you call them, they suck! At Whitlock Cosmetic Center, we see women on a daily basis who complain about moderate to severe cellulite on their buttocks and thighs.  They haven’t worn swimsuits, leggings or shorts for years because they feel self-conscious about the appearance of unsightly dimples. By the time they arrive at our office, they’ve spent a small fortune on lotions, potions and gadgets, each promising to rid them of cellulite.

At long last, we are excited to now offer to our patients at Whitlock Cosmetic Center, the QWO injectable for moderate to severe cellulite.  QWO is the first and only FDA-approved injectable for cellulite in the buttocks, and it works!  Women across the country are celebrating QWO and with good reason. QWO injectable is an award-winning treatment that has been featured in O Magazine, Real Self, Health and New Beauty.  It won the 2020 Shape Beauty Award and was the 2020 Elle Future of Beauty winner.  Whitlock Cosmetic has successfully treated patients with QWO and we can confidently say this injectable provides us with an effective cellulite treatment option that delivers truly amazing results.  It lives up to all the hype.

Tulsa Cosmetic Surgery QwoQWO is a prescription medicine injected into the dimples that are located on the buttocks and thighs. Schedule an appointment with our nurse for an initial consultation where we determine whether you are a good candidate for QWO and answer any questions you may have about the treatment.

On the day of your treatment, numbing cream is placed on the area to be treated to make you more comfortable when the nurse does her injections.  Patients report little to no pain during the treatment which lasts about 10 minutes.  It’s that quick!  There is no downtime, but you will experience a large amount of bruising.  Three treatments, spaced 21 days apart, are recommended for optimal results so we sell QWO as a package.  The patients we have treated all report they noticed some improvement after one treatment and were excited about seeing continued improvement after future appointments.

QWO is contraindicated for patients with a history of hypersensitivity to collagenase or patients who have an infection at the injection sites.  Side effects that may be experienced include allergic reactions including anaphylaxis.  The most common side effects are bruising, pain, areas of hardness, itching, redness, discoloration, swelling and warmth in the treatment area.  Patients report that bruising is the worst after the first treatment and lessened after treatments two and three.
