Yes, PlasmaMD is safe for light to dark skin types.  However, darker skin types need to be individually assessed and pre-treated with peels and lightening cream to prevent post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

What is the downtime?

It depends on the areas treated but average is 4-7 days which isn’t long for a non-surgical treatment delivering such impressive results. Results are often noticeable once the initial healing process begins. The goal of Plasma Energy is to promote the development of your own collagen and elastin which tightens and renews the skin at the deepest layers. Results continue to improve over the next 12-16 weeks and last up to 3 years.

What Can I Expect During My Treatment?

Numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area to reduce any pain or discomfort. Treatment time depends on the size of the area to be treated. After your treatment, you will be sent home with post care products and instructions to use during the healing process.
